Best if served from the freezer or chilled.
The cream and lemon smooth out the higher alcohol content of this Italian liqueur that’s been crowned the “Moonshine Milkshake.” Keep an eye out for the limoncello collar that develops. Don’t be afraid, it’s truly not curdled milk. The cream rises to the top and forms a “plug” that tastes like lemon cheesecake! If you come to the Distillery on a Friday night, you’ll trip over our regulars waiting in line to get it. Yum! Best if stored in and served from the freezer.
Move over Mimosa, Dreamsickle, Creamy Dreamy, Creamcycle, Breakfast of Champions
Hard to name, easy to drink. Two parts no pulp OJ, 1 part Cremma Lemma, splash of vanilla club soda. (Polar Brand or ½ tsp of vanilla extract to one liter of regular club soda) If you listen to the glass you can hear the ice cream truck coming–but please don’t chase with glass in hand.
Sparkling Italian!
No we are not talking about Guido Bling. This is a simple fun cocktail perfecto for parties or bubble baths. In a nice tall champagne flute add a bit of Limoncello to a glass of dry white Prosecco. The Limoncello sweetens the Prosecco, livens up the party, or helps keep the bath warmer longer. Garnish with a twist of lemon or a bit of fresh basil.
Cream Shine Bellini or Bubbly Bubba
Champagne or Prosecco cocktails send a simple message, “Nothing too good for my guests.” Classy, yes, but maybe a bit pretentious unless you are christening your yacht. Let us help manage your image. Start with either bubbly, selecting a dry white version, then add a bit of Peach SweetShine and a bit of Cremma Lemma SweetShine. This really says nothing is too good for my friends and what can be less pretentious than a drink of bubbly mixed with two SweetShines? That there is Hillbilly Chic, cuz.
Caribbean Cremma
Mix together two parts Cremma Lemma, one part coconut rum, and one and a half parts of pineapple juice. Serve over ice, preferably in a hollowed out coconut shell. Umbrella optional.
Appalachian Cream
Mix two parts Cremma Lemma with one part bourbon and serve over ice while enjoying cigars. Now that’s the good life.
Cremma Lemma Frosting
Aside from cocktails, Cremma Lemma has found its way into many bakers’ pantries. Blended into your favorite cream cheese frosting recipe. Makes a nice topper for your treats.
