Seasonal Cranberry Clementine

Best if served slightly chilled. Here she comes, just walking down the street singing doo wha ditty, ditty dum ditty dum! Yeah, She’s light hearted, great looking and totally refreshing!

This young lass is our signal that summer is on the way, she only comes out in the spring time and then just like that she’s gone til next year. Grab her when you can! ( No–not like that, you know what we meant!)

Oh My Darlin’ One of our favorite summer-time recipes: 2 parts Cranberry Clementine SweetShine, 1 part gin, fill glass with ice and tonic.

Enjoy Sum-Sum-Summer-time!

Cranberry Clementine Spritz (CC Spritz)
Easy to make–easier to enjoy!  Walk to the poolside cocktail mixing area. Find a tall ice filled glass toss in half of an orange slice then add together 3 parts prosecco, 2 parts CC, 1 part soda. Gently insert straw, find a seat, enjoy!  Please be sure to wear sunscreen. We hear reports that this refreshing drink may cause extended periods of sunshine filled relaxation. Please relax safely.

CC Sangria
Start with a visit to your local farmers market. Buy a bunch of fruit. Find some red wine. Find a pitcher. Put a bunch of fruit into the pitcher, add 3 parts red wine and 2 parts CC. Find some glasses. Put some ice in the glasses. Pour the sangria mix from the pitcher into the glasses. Wait 17 seconds wave your hand over the glasses and say, “Damn. I’m good!” Serve to your guests and humbly accept their compliments on your mixology skills.

Newest Old Fashion
Really this is the newest old fashion recipe that we have created, and may we add arguably the finest. Therefore this should only be served in fine crystal with fresh homemade ice. Stir together 2 parts Bourbon, 1 part CC, add a dash of citrus bitters and garnish with a cherry. Best enjoyed in an overstuffed well used chair, feet up on the coffee table.

CC Cosmo
A very metropolitan cocktail but our version can be enjoyed even in the most remote of areas. Simply shake together with ice, 2 parts Vodka or Moonshine, 1 part CC, 1 part Cranberry Juice and a splash of lime juice. Strain into either a city or rural goblet then garnish with a lemon.

Aye Carumba!  Margarita ( or best margarita ever!)
So simple and wonderful you will wonder why you don’t make this more often. Easy peasy. Shake together or blend for a frozen drink: 2 parts tequila,1 part CC, 1Part fresh lime juice. Add up to a half part of simple syrup to tast. Salt or sugar the rim. rela’jese  and en’joi mi amigo.

Bulldog
Beware! This dog does not bark–it may bite however. Shake with ice–2 parts dry gin, 1 part CC, a splash of lemon juice and a dash of bitters. Strain and serve in a martini-like glass as no special glassware is named Bulldog glass yet. Garnish with a twist of lime.

Sangria Julep Slushie 

  • 4 oz Cranberry Clementine SweetShine
  • 4 oz bourbon
  • 1 c. white wine
  • 1/2 c. water
  1. Combine white wine and water in a shallow freezer-safe dish and freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
  2. In each of 4 glasses, muddle 4-5 mint leaves with 1 oz Cranberry Clementine SweetShine, top with bourbon, stir.
  3. Scoop frozen wine/water mixture into each glass and gently stir.
  4. Garnish with mint.

Cranberry Clementine with Elderberry Mead

1/2 can Charm City Elderberry

1 oz Cranberry Clementine SweetShine

Cranberry Clementine Sangria

2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup water

1 bottle (750ml) red wine, (Merlot or Malbec)

1/2 cup VSOP brandy 1/4 cup of Bloomery Cranberry Clementine SweetShine 1 cup orange juice 2 cinnamon sticks

lemon and orange slices

In a pot bring cranberries , sugar and water to a boil. When cranberries pop remove from stove and let cool. Strain mixture, squeezing remaining juice out of cranberries.

Once cooled place mixture in a pitcher, add remaining ingredients and serve cold or over ice.

Club Rock Cider 

  • 1 oz Cranberry Clementine SweetShine
  • 1 oz fresh squeezed lemonade
  •  3 oz hard cider
  1. In a mixing glass combine Cranberry Clementine SweetShine and lemonade.
  2. Add ice, cover, and shake vigorously until ice cold.
  3. Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Top with chilled hard cider and gently stir to combine.

Cranberry Clementine Whipped Cream

1 oz Cranberry Clementine SweetShine

1 1/2 Tbsp sugar

1 1/2 c. heavy cream

  1. Chill heavy cream until it’s extra cold.
  2. Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and beat until soft peaks form.
  3. Keep refrigerated up to 4 weeks.
