Figget About It

Fig, the perfect fall flavor! Try it in our Figget About It cocktail with only 3 simple ingredients …

Here’s what you need:

2 oz bourbon

1/2 oz Black Walnut SweetShine

1 Tbsp. fig preserves

In a shake with lid, add 1 Tbsp. fig preserves …

1/2 oz Black Walnut SweetShine …

and 2 oz bourbon.

Cover and shake WITHOUT ICE until preserves dissolve.

Add ice.

Cover and shake again until ice cold.

Strain into chilled cocktail glass.

Slice fresh fig in half for garnish, optional.

Cré Vodka

Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael began as mere turtles until they encountered a canister of mutagen that transformed them in to the lean, mean, green incredible team. The bright green toxic waste that mutated them was later dubbed “Ooze” by the turtles. We promise our version is free of toxins, but it just might turn you into a hero in a half shell. Go ahead, give it a try…

Turtle Power!

Here’s what you need:

1 oz Cré

1 oz Vodka

Honeydew melon

Limeade

Assorted fruit rolls

Add 3-4 cubes honeydew melon to a glass and cover with 1 oz Cré.

Muddle (press and twist to release melon juice).

Fill glass with ice.

Add 1 oz vodka.

Top with limeade.

Stir.

Cut fruit strips to resemble Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mask.

Add mask as garnish.

Cowabunga!

Cre Julep

Many of you have tried our inexplicably alluring Cre, but have you tried it in a bourbon cocktail? We think this riff on the classic Mint Julep is the perfect way to enjoy this bright green beauty.

Here’s what you need:

1 sugar cube

5 mint leaves, plus more for garnish

1/2 oz Cre

2 oz bourbon

Add a sugar cube and mint leaves to a mixing glass.

Measure 3/4 oz Cre.

Add to glass.

Muddle by gently pressing and twisting to dissolve the sugar and release the oils of the mint.

Measure 2 oz bourbon.

Add to glass. Stir.

Strain over crushed ice.

Add extra crushed ice on top and garnish with mint.

Cre Julep.

Bourbon Cré

Fashionista

This gal’s got style, and she’s giving the classic Old Fashioned cocktail a makeover that we think you will really enjoy!

What you need:

Cré

Bourbon

Orange slices

Maraschino cherries

Sugar cubs

Slice an orange.

Place 2 large orange slices, 1 maraschino cherry, and 1 sugar cube into a mixing glass.

Add 1/2 oz Cré.

Press and twist to muddle, releasing juices and oils from the fruit.

Add 2 oz bourbon.

Add ice.

Cover and shake vigorously until ice cold.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with orange wedge and cherry.

Ginger Peach Rum Uncategorized

Orchard Rum Smash

But, WHY is the rum gone!? We’re guessing someone got their hands on this irresistible smash recipe made with perfectly ripe orchard fruits, Ginger SweetShine, and summer’s favorite spirit, RUM!

What you need:

Fresh peaches

Fresh cherries

Fresh lime

Fresh mint

Turbinado sugar (any sugar will work, but we like turbinado best)

Ginger SweetShine

Aged white rum

Club soda

In a short glass, combine:

1 tbsp. sugar

2 peach slices

2 lime wedges

2 fresh cherries

5 mint leaves

Add 3/4 oz Ginger SweetShine.

Muddle by pressing and twisting to release the juices and oils from the fruit.

At this point we recommend transferring the mixture into a shaker tin then straining it back into the glass.

Fill the glass with ice, then add 2 oz rum.

Stir.

Top with club soda and garnish with fresh fruit and mint.

Cremma Lemma

Red, White, and Bubbly

Get ready for the 4th of July with some fizzy fun! We’re keeping this one nice and simple so you can just sip and relax this holiday weekend.

Here’s what you need:

1 tbsp strawberry puree

2 oz Cremma Lemma

3 oz champagne

(Really, though, you can use whatever ratios you like).

Don’t forget! The cream in Cremma Lemma rises to the top and forms an all-natural plug in the neck of the bottle, so if you’re trying to pour but nothing is coming out, just give it a good shake! And if a little piece of the plug pours out, eat it! It tastes like boozy cheesecake. BONUS!

And now for the cocktail …

First, chill all ingredients and glassware.

Spoon 1 tbsp strawberry puree into the bottom of a chilled martini glass.

Sit the spoon on top of the puree, then gently pour Cremma Lemma into the bowl of the spoon to layer.

Just like so.

Carefully top with chilled champagne.

Cut the bottom of a strawberry for garnish.

Beautiful.

Add a festive blue straw to complete the patriotic look.

Cranberry Clementine Rum

Back Surf

We’ve been inspired by our local outdoor adventurers, so this month’s cocktails pay tribute to white water terms. If you’re a paddler you know to watch out for back surf … when a hydraulic pulls your boat back into a surf, unwillingly. Don’t get sucked in, but do try this tasty drink!

Here’s what you need:

1 oz coconut rum

1 oz Cranberry Clementine SweetShine

3-4 oz fresh limeade

In a glass with ice, pour 1 oz coconut rum.

Shake up a bottle of Cranberry Clementine SweetShine.

Add 1 oz Cranberry Clementine SweetShine to the glass.

Top with limeade.

Slice a lime into wheels (optional).

Add lime wheel and orange wedge (both optional).

Add some coconut strips for funzies (also optional).

Back Surf with Cranberry Clementine SweetShine.

Bananas Foster Rum and Coke

We are just BANANAS for this new rum & coke recipe. Check it out!

Here’s what you need:

1 1/2 oz banana rum

1/2 oz Black Walnut SweetShine

1/2 oz caramel syrup

Coca-Cola

Measure 1 1/2 oz banana rum.

Pour into ice-filled glass.

Don’t forget this very important step! Shake well.

Measure 1/2 oz Black Walnut SweetShine.

Add to glass.

Add 1/2 oz caramel syrup.

Open a bottle of Coca-Cola.

Fill the glass.

Add caramelized bananas, optional.
