Chocolate Raspberry

Best if served slightly chilled.

Chocoholics beware: a hint of cream smooths the party that’s about to happen in your mouth! Oh my. What’s not to love about chocolate, raspberry and 190° ‘shine perfectly blended together? Refrigerate after opening. Warning: do not leave in a hot car, unless you enjoy baked chocolate raspberry in a bottle. But then you can’t get it out. Store and serve from the fridge.

Mocha-tini
Never heard of a Mocha-tini? Neither had we till we invented it! A great way to finish dinner or start the day. Shake together with ice equal parts of our Chocolate Raspberry and espresso or coffee vodka. Strain and Serve in a mini martini glass. Pro version: rim the glass with malted milk and garnish with a malted milk ball with one end trimmed to allow the goodness in.

Liquid Mounds Bar–tini
A perfect dessert drink for the chocoholic. Two parts Chocolate Raspberry, one part each of chocolate and coconut vodkas, shake together with ice and serve in an ice cold martini glass. Whole blackberries on a swizzle stick make a nice garnish.

Chocolate Lab
We like to use Black Dog Coffee, a locally roasted coffee, to make this special flavored mocha. Add one shot of Chocolate Raspberry to a cup of hot coffee. For hot summer days try over ice. For a bit more potency and some interesting flavor perks, add a bit of marshmallow or whipped cream flavored vodkas.

Black Raspberry Sorbet Special-i-ciousA burst of flavors made simply. A scoop of blackberry sorbet, topped with a few whole red and black raspberries then drizzled with our Dark Chocolate Raspberry Liqueur will satisfy just about all sweet tooth requirements.

S’mores Shots
  •  1 oz Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine
  • 1 large marshmallow
  • 1/2 graham cracker
  1. Place marshmallow on graham cracker and bake at 350 for 10 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
  2. Remove from oven and allow to cool. The marshmallow will slightly deflate, creating a “shot glass”.
  3. Once marshmallow cools, pour in Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine.
  4. Make several to share with friends!
Peanut Butter Cup Stout Martini 
  • 1 oz Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine
  • 3  oz Irish stout
  • 1 tsp powdered peanut butter
  1. In a mixing glass combine Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine and powdered peanut butter.
  2. Add ice, cover, and shake vigorously until ice cold.
  3. Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Top with chilled Irish stout and gently stir to combine.
Chocolate Raspberry Prosecco
  • 1 oz Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine
  • 3-4 oz prosecco
  • fresh raspberry garnish
  1. Chill ingredients.
  2. Pour Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine into chilled champagne glass.
  3. Top with prosecco.
  4. Garnish with fresh raspberries.
Chocolate Mint Julep
  •  1 oz Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine
  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus sprig for garnish
  1. In a mixing glass, muddle mint with Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine.
  2. Add bourbon and ice. Shake until frothy.
  3. Strain over crushed ice in rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with fresh mint sprig.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shots

chocolate melting wafters
  1. Core strawberries and remove the bottom tip so that the berry stands upright.
  2. Place chocolate wafers in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave another 30 seconds. Stir again. If needed continue in 10 second intervals until chocolate is melted.
  3. Dip the bottom of the strawberries in melted chocolate to coat. Place chocolate-side-down on wax paper so that the strawberry is standing upright.
  4. Once chocolate hardens fill with chilled Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine.
Chipotle Hot Chocolate
  • 2 oz Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine
  • 1 packet hot chocolate mix
  • 4 oz hot water (or milk)
  • pinch chipotle powder, to taste
  • pinch cinnamon, to taste
  1. Prepare hot chocolate by stirring mix into 4 oz hot water (or milk) until dissolved.
  2. Add Chocolate Raspberry SweetShine, chipotle powder and cinnamon. Stir.
  3. Serve hot.
